Elite school graduates Sarpreet Singh and Moses Dyer have had made game winning contributions in the All Whites latest victory over India at the HERO Intercontinental Cup in India.
Sarpreet Singh turned in a man of the match display assisting both New Zealand goals which included Dyer’s game winner in the 86th minute.
After falling behind in the second half the All Whites fought back well to secure the 2 – 1 win and second victory in a row after their 1 – 0 success against Chinese Taipei mid week.
Sarpreet Singhs latest heroics cap off a fine tournament for the former WPSS youngster.
The man of the match award was his second in succession and he was involved in all 4 goals the New Zealand team scored at the tournament.
Singh scored against Kenya, won the penalty for the game winning goal against Chinese Taipei and made the killer defence splitting pass for both the All Whites goals against India.
Moses Dyers game winning goal was his first strike for New Zealand in his 11th appearance.
Dyer described the feeling as ‘very good’ to get off the mark for his country and enjoyed being able to celebrate the moment with his team mates at such a crucial moment in the game.
