Miya scoops top NZF coaching award

Congratulations to WPSS director Hiroshi Miyazawa who took out the prize for coach of the year at the prestigious NZ Football awards dinner on Saturday night.

Miya has enjoyed great success over the last year continuing to develop elite school talent as well as relationships in overseas environments for WPSS to visit and compete in.

His hard work returned titles at senior premier level, with back to back NRFL premier league titles and a historic first ever Chatham Cup win for Onehunga Sports.

Miya has also made the step into international football coaching with his appointment as the NZ U20 mens national team assistant coach.

Miya’s accolade is the result of years of hard work and quality, well done Miya – we are all so very proud of you.
