Wellington Phoenix’s new era under Mark Rudan got off to a flying start last weekend with a win and 3 points at the first time of asking for season 2018 / 2019.
The 2 – 1 home win over last seasons grand finalists the Newcastle Jets was the perfect opening to what promises to be an exciting season for the club.
To cap off a superb opening WPSS graduate and rising star Sarpreet Singh was selected in the Hyundai A League team of the week for his afternoons work.
